Anime collection and rarity
Collecting rare anime is the second line of the official description, and the collection is also your progress tracker. Here is how to read it.
Your collection is the set of anime you have hatched and placed. Rarity decides how special an entry is; placement decides whether it pays you.
Rarity tiers
Steal Anime Eggs uses a named rarity ladder. The clearest official source for the tier names is the game's own store: it sells four passes called Epic, Legendary, Mythic and Secret, priced between 399 and 1,999 Robux. Those names come from the developer's listing, so they are the game's own vocabulary rather than a fan invention. The in-game collection view is the authoritative place to see every tier and every entry.

The collection is a checklist
Every anime you hatch is an entry. That makes the collection the honest measure of progress in the game: upgrades can be bought, but an entry only exists because you stole the egg, got it home and hatched it.
Rarity is not the same as value
A rare entry is a badge. A placed entry is income. The two overlap but they are not the same thing, and it is worth keeping them separate in your head: a common anime standing on your plot pays you, while a rare one you never placed pays nothing.
What to keep
- Keep everything you have hatched, because the collection is the progress record.
- Prioritise placing the anime that earn, regardless of how rare they look.
- When your base is full, the base upgrade is the fix, not deleting entries.
How rarity ties into the rest of the loop
Rarer eggs come from better routes. Better routes need Speed. Speed comes from treadmill training, which is paid for by placed anime. So the collection ladder and the Speed ladder climb together — pushing one without the other stalls.
FAQ
Where is the full rarity list?
In the game. The collection view lists your entries and their tiers, and the store's four rarity-named passes (Epic, Legendary, Mythic, Secret) show the tier vocabulary the game uses.
Do rare anime earn more?
Rare entries are rarer, but income depends on what is placed and how much base space you have. Treat rarity as a collector's goal and placement as the income decision.
Can I lose collection entries?
You can lose an egg on a failed run before it ever hatches. Once it is a placed anime, the collection record is what you keep.
