Egg hatching in Steal Anime Eggs
Hatching converts a stolen egg into the anime that pays your income. It is the shortest step in the loop and the one most often forgotten mid-session.
Hatch the egg you brought home to turn it into an anime, then place that anime on your plot. An unplaced anime earns nothing, so hatching is only half the job.
How hatching works
The official description puts it in one line: hatch eggs to collect rare anime. You bring an egg home from a steal, hatch it, and the result is an anime that goes into your collection. That anime is now the thing that earns.

The part players forget: place it
A hatched anime that is sitting in a menu is doing nothing. It has to be placed on your plot to start generating money. If your income seems to have stopped growing even though you keep stealing, check whether you actually placed your last hatch.
Rarity on hatch
The description says you will collect rare anime, and the store sells four rarity-named passes — Epic, Legendary, Mythic and Secret. Those names come from the game's own listings, which tells you the rarity vocabulary the game uses. The in-game collection view is where you see the full set.
Sizes and mutations change the result
Hatching is not the only variable. The official description links rarer eggs, anime, sizes and mutations together, so the same hatch can differ by size and mutation. The size and mutations page covers both.
Hatching fits into the loop
| You just did | The next thing you must do |
|---|---|
| Brought an egg home | Hatch it |
| Hatched an anime | Place it on your plot |
| Placed it | Spend the income on treadmill or base |
Skipping the middle row is the most common way a session quietly stops progressing.
FAQ
Can I hatch the same egg twice?
No. An egg is a one-way trip into one anime. If you want a second copy of something, you go and steal another egg.
Do rare anime cost more to hatch?
Hatching is part of the loop, not a shop. The cost you pay is the risk of the steal and the time the run took.
What do I do with duplicates?
Keep the ones that earn and use the rest as collection entries. The collection itself is a progress record, so a duplicate is not wasted.
