How to protect your eggs in Steal Anime Eggs
The flip side of a steal mechanic is that it applies to you. Defence in Steal Anime Eggs is mostly about what you leave lying around.
Assume your plot will be raided, because the game's own loop promises exactly that. Keep fewer high-value eggs sitting unhatched, and hatch and place quickly so there is less for a raider to take.
The official loop cuts both ways
One line of the store description says you can steal eggs from other players. The same line means other players can steal from you. There is no separate defence mode and no safe zone listed — the plot is part of the world.

Reduce what can be taken
The most effective defence is inventory discipline. An egg you hatched and placed has already become income; an egg sitting on your plot waiting to be processed is the thing a raider wants. Move eggs through the pipeline quickly and there is less to lose.
Do not stockpile
Hoarding unhatched eggs is the single worst habit for a player who is being raided, because every one you hold is a stolen egg waiting to happen. Hatch as you go.
Use the six-player limit to your advantage
With six players per server, the population is small enough that you can learn who is aggressive. If a known raider is in your session, run shorter routes closer to home until they move on.
Keep Speed honest
A raider who catches you mid-route is a raider who out-Speeded you. The treadmill is a defensive purchase as much as an offensive one: Speed is how you leave a bad situation.
FAQ
Can I make my plot unraidable?
No source describes a lock or a safe zone. The design intent is that plots are reachable.
What is the best defence?
Not holding unhatched eggs. Anything you have not yet turned into placed income is the only thing a raider can take.
Does being raided lose my placed anime?
The loop is about stealing eggs. Placed anime are your income, and the description does not describe them as stealable.
