Steal Anime Eggs Guide

Treadmill and Speed in Steal Anime Eggs

Speed gets its own line in the official description, and for good reason: it is the only stat that gates the map.

Quick answer

Speed is the stat that decides which routes you survive. You raise it by training on the treadmill, and you upgrade the treadmill with money earned from placed anime.

Speed is the gate on the map

Everything in Steal Anime Eggs eventually runs into the same wall: can you get out of a route with the egg? Money buys upgrades, anime make money, eggs become anime — but Speed is what decides whether the steal lands.

Training on the treadmill

The description lists training on the treadmill as a step of its own, separate from upgrading it. Training is the repeated action; the upgrade is the purchase. Doing one without the other is the usual mistake — players buy the tier and then never put in the training time.

Upgrading the treadmill

Ten of the store's 31 passes are literal treadmill levels, from Treadmill Level 2 at 25 Robux to Treadmill Level 11 at 1,799 Robux. That price curve tells you two things: treadmill tier is a real progression axis, and the higher tiers are priced like a serious shortcut rather than a starter purchase.

Speed passes versus training

The store also sells pure Speed multipliers: x2 Speed for 8 Robux, rising to x4096 Speed for 1,375 Robux. A multiplier and a treadmill tier are different purchases — one scales what your training produces, the other changes the treadmill itself. Both are optional; the free path is simply more training time.

A working training routine

  1. Train in short blocks rather than one long grind.
  2. Test one fixed route with empty hands after each block.
  3. Only push a new route when the old one feels easy, not merely possible.
  4. Bank income while you train by leaving placed anime running.

FAQ

Is Speed permanent?

Speed is a stat you build on your character through training and treadmill tiers. Multiplier passes are sold as persistent upgrades on the store listing.

Which is better, treadmill tiers or Speed passes?

They do different jobs. Tiers change the treadmill; multipliers scale the result. The free answer to both is more training.

How much Speed do I need?

Enough to leave a route without being caught twice in a row. If you are being caught on the way out, you are short.
